Hi dear friend:

Are you looking for new ways to use your pumpkin seeds? Or want a healthier variation to peanut butter that you can make at home?
This raw cinnamon pumpkin seed recipe is pretty easy to make, needs very few ingredients, and is a great alternative to other kinds of butter.

Also, as someone with osteoarthritis, I suffer from morning joint stiffness. Therefore I have adapted my already healthy diet as part of an early treatment to decrease pain and live a healthier life.

Part of my diet includes drinking ginger lemon tea every morning and having a good ratio of Omega 6/3 essential fatty acids in my diet.

I also eat as clean as possible and avoid processed sugar, gluten, and dairy products to prevent inflammation.

I was on a candida diet and in general, I enjoy eating as clean as possible. Therefore, when I saw the recipe from allrecipes.com I decided to try it. I made some changes and added some additional ingredients to it and now I want to share it with you.

For this recipe you need a powerful food processor, this one is a great option. It might take a bit longer depending on the machine you use.

You can add any additional flavors to it. I used stevia & cinnamon to my recipe which was inspired by the recipe I found at mindbodygreen.com

I prefer using pumpkin seed raw, but you can opt for roasted ones.

Healthy tip:

Try to choose organic ingredients for this sour cream recipe in order to benefit from more nutrients, enjoy better taste, avoid hormones, antibiotics, and drugs in animal products. In addition, organic farming practices are designed to encourage soil and water conservation and reduce pollution.
