Hi dear friend:

Do you love pesto? Perhaps you are looking for a different recipe. Or just want a clean option to the recipe that you can make at home.

I decided to make this recipe at home, for all of the reasons mentioned above!

Also, as someone with osteoarthritis, I suffer from morning joint stiffness. Therefore I have adapted my already healthy diet as part of an early treatment to decrease pain and live a healthier life.

Part of my diet includes drinking ginger lemon tea every morning and having a good ratio of Omega 6/3 essential fatty acids in my diet.

I also eat as clean as possible and avoid processed sugar, gluten, and dairy products to prevent inflammation.

I was on a candida diet and in general, I enjoy eating as clean as possible. Therefore, when I say the recipe from allrecipes.com I decided to try it making some changes and adaptations to it.

I normally have other nuts at hand and wanted the health benefits of kale and basil. The pesto was really tasty, so now I want to share the recipe with you.

This video will show you how to make your own vegan kale basil pesto.

If you make this recipe I would love to see it! Tag your photo with #LivingHealthierIdeas on Instagram
